Music Album: Last Train To Paris By Diddy Dirty Money

Listening to this album I did not know what to expect and after listening to it, I began to think of how best I could describe my feeling of it and I came up with the perfect idea. This album is indeed a journey taking you on a ride to various destinations, some places you like and some places you don't. As a loyal Diddy fan, I always look forward to any project that he is focusing on, this album is really good, it is not as brilliant as his previous albums. This album could have easily been called PRESS PLAY 2, because just like Diddy's 2006 album, this record seems to have the same artistic direction and multiple guest features.

Diddy joins forces with singer/songwriter Kalenna and singer of Danity Kane fame, Dawn Richards to form this group called Diddy Dirty Money. All three seem to compliment each other visually and musically, so I really see no reason for all the multiple features on the album. The album contains some amazing songs including the fantastic Coming Home, with deep-rooted lines like "Its easy to be Puff but its harder to be Sean" "what if the twins ask why I didn't marry their mum" and the amazing hook sung by Kalenna, Dawn and Skylar Grey, on this song Diddy just shows us that he is human like everyone else, and he has delivered one of the best songs of his career. Shades, Your Love(featuring Trey Songz & Wiz Khalifa), I Know(featuring Chris Brown), Strobe Lights(featuring Lil' Wayne), Loving You No More(featuring Drake) and the bass thumping Ass On The Floor(featuring Swizz Beatz) are some of the songs on this record that make this train worth boarding. This album contains songs about love, songs about heartache, and songs that you can listen to when you are just in a good mood.

Diddy might not be considered an acclaimed rapper but he will forever remain a leading figure in the hip hop game. The class and vulnerability he brings with his music attests to the fact that even men as successful as he is, are able to go through troubles with their emotions just like every other human being, troubles of love, troubles of loss and even troubles of heartbreak. No matter what he goes through, he is able to come out and just have a good time just like most of like to. Last Train To Paris is a nice album but it is definitely not a great one.
