Music Album: Disc-Overy by Tinie Tempah

It is safe to say that Tinie Tempah born Patrick Okogwu, has given us the best rap music to ever come out from the UK music scene. He started off his music journey this year with the infectious club banger PASS OUT, its catchy chrous and simplicit lyrics, along with its amazing instrumental and contribution from singer Labrinth, which made it play continuously on radio and gave him his first number one record. FRISKY another amazing club banger and the second single from the album also fared well on the charts and was also played constantly on the radio and in the clubs, the "Oh la la la la, la la la la la, Oh la la la la, la la la... Frisky" that made up the chrous, made the song stick in the head.

After two amazing singles, you would think that Tinie Tempah could bring no musicality or variety to the music industry. However, with his third and fourth singles, he let us know that he is highly creative and aims to achieve that crossover appeal that majority of artists aim to achieve nowadays. Written In the Stars (featuring Eric Turner) showed us that he is able to create a hip hop track with a pop music appeal, so it was no suprise that this became his second number one record. Miami To Ibiza (featuring Swediah House Mafia), the album's fourth single and my personal favourite showed us that even though he aims to prove to his audience that he is a hip-hop artist, with this track he was able to experiment with the euro-techno sound to produce a fantastic track, with fun lines like "I got a black BM, She got a white TT, She wanna see what’s hiding in my CK briefs". So, with four amazing singles, could this album really go wrong? No it could not and it was worth every copy that has been sold since it debuted atop the UK charts.

Illusion, Just a Little and Obsession are other notable mentions on the album, where he proves that he is an amazing rapper and can carry his own lyrically and when it comes to playing with words in his rhymes. Another amazing track on the album, which I hope will become a single is Invincible (featuring Kelly Rowland), Kelly sounds amazing singing the hook and I think she and Tinie Tempah have amazing chemistry on the song... I can already imagine the video.

In conclusion, this album is amazing and I am pretty confident that Tinie Tempah can carry his own in the worldwide music industry. With the right management, record label and right connections, I am pretty sure that he can crack America. On his twitter, he has been making connections with Diddy, so don't give up on Tinie yet, I see worldwide conquering in his future.
