2011 Brit Awards

Despite a slump in its ratings this year, I still think that the Brit Awards was still a thrill to watch this year. With an outstanding and vocally flawless opening performance from Adele, who performed a new number one hit song, Someone Like You and other lacklustre yet interesting performances from Rihanna, Take That, Plan B and Tinie Tempah, there was still a reason to tune in and watch the show in its entirety. Tinie Tempah who had the most nominations took home two awards, while iconic Brtish band, Take That went home with the Best Group award,an award that they have been snubbed from receiving in the history of the Brit Awards. The Brits were without controversy this year as the Best Female accolade went to Laura Marling, an award that a lot of people thought was going to go to Ellie Goulding.
